Club Member's Pledge

1. Respect and Integrity:

(a) Members are expected to treat each other with respect, valuing diverse opinions and experiences. Integrity should guide all interactions, both within the club and within the broader photographic community.

(b) We are mindful of body image and avoid unflattering or insensitive photos.

(c) All our photographers are trained in working respectfully with people.

2. Support Ethical Practices:

(a) We uphold ethical practices in photography, including copyrights, and respect and honesty in representation. This includes following the rules of the specific categories, with regards to Manipulation and Non-manipulation, and the rules regarding AI.

(b) We follow clear protocols when photographing minors and respect guidelines regarding consent and photo distribution.

3. The use of AI
PSSA definition: Use of Al features (limited to: clear, de-noise, masking, sharpening, subject selection, tone adjustments, upsizing image) contained within a post processing application are permitted in our competitions provided they comply with a competition's editing criteria and do not contain any elements which were not captured by the entrant. Al sky replacement is permitted provided that the new sky was captured by the entrant. All aspects of the post-processing for their submitted image must be undertaken by the photographer.
